We host a series of exciting workshops and events after school for students in Year 5, giving them a taste of life at Wolstanton High School. Activities on offer range from making Funky Cup Cakes in the Food Technology Department to experimenting with static electricity in Science.
We are very proud to say that our after school programme of events is in its fifth year of running; giving students a first hand experience of a secondary school environment.
We also have a extensive Transition Plus Programme in place with up to ten themed days throughout the year for our partner primary schools.
These active learning days involve Year 5 and Year 6 students working alongside our Student Ambassadors to experience the whole range of subject activities. In conjunction with the after school enrichment programme, this provides an excellent introduction to Wolstanton High School.
If you are interested in your child taking part in our primary programme then please contact Mrs Mellor by clicking here.
